Billing Options & Conditions 

Health Hub Mackay operates as a private billing practice, with payment required at the time of consultation. We accept cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard (cash out facilities are unavailable). Standard consults are $100.00 and longer and prolonged consults attract higher fees. Pension or concession cardholders are charged $90.00 for standard consultations and $180.00 for long consultations.

Please note, we are not a bulk billing site. However, selected doctors bulk bill children 16 years and under. Additional fees may be charged for treatment room, prolonged consultations, procedures, medicals, investigations or certain vaccinations.

Telehealth/video appointments are available if you’ve had an in-surgery consultation within the past 12 months, with fees varying depending on the doctor’s discretion. A Medicare rebatable fee is $100.00 with a $43.90 rebate. If no in-surgery appointment has occurred in the last year, a non-rebatable fee of $100.00 applies. Veteran Affairs patients are billed directly through Veteran Affairs.

Please note there is a no show fee of $25.00.
